I have a Vostro 3500 that is just over a year old and of course out of warranty. Over the past week the cooling fan has been running more and more until now, it's on constantly. It has now started shutting down to overheating. Does anyone know if a new processor and a cooling fan will solve the problem or is it more involved than that? I've had it apart to clean out any dust and there was virtually none, so that wasn't the cause. Any thoughts or ideas on how to solve the problem before I have to go get a new laptop.

By the way, I ran all the diagnostics and everything checks out fine.
